0Apollo Phazer Tank Review | Vape Tank Review
One of the biggest current trends in vaping is sub ohm vaping.
This new level of vaping is something that is unique and allows the vaper to have a new experience that can produce the biggest possible clouds and a more delicious flavor.
The Phazer tank is just one of these new sub ohm tanks on the market.
The Phazer comes to you from the trusted Apollo line of vaping products.
What’s New – Apollo Phazer Tank?
In this Apollo Phazer Tank review I am going to share with you everything that I learned about the Phazer while using this new sub ohm tank.
One of the things that I liked about the tank were the interesting coil options that you could have. I also appreciated the great flavor that could be produced.
It has been a tank that I have enjoyed using. I was able to use this along side the new Apollo V-tube 4 which was an impressive 50W mod that allows for firing down to the 0.2 ohm.
Here is a closer look at some of your options with the Apollo Phazer Tank.
Using the 0.5 ohm Coil
The 0.5 ohm coil was the first one that I tried out.
I actually used it with a different type of mod, a smaller mod that has the power of a full sized mod (Apollo V-Tube 4).
I liked being able to use the tank with a mod that was easy to take with me regardless of where I was going. At 15W not much happened, in fact I was not really able to vape at this wattage.
At 20W I was finally able to get a little bit of vapor, but not enough to really vape. I then moved the wattage up to 30W where I was finally able to get a nice cool vape.
The thing is that at this temperature I was not able to get a lot of flavor.
I was only able to get a hint of flavor. When I bumped it up to 40W the flavor significantly improved.
I was actually able to get a ton of delicious clean flavor.
I was able to get some nice plumes of vapor at this wattage, but did not get any clouds.
I did notice that the tank was getting a little hot when I was vaping at 40W which is something that I have not been fond of in the past.
I have actually had experiences with other tanks where I have burnt my lip. One of the things that I loved about the Apollo Phazer Tank is that the mouthpiece stayed completely cool.
I never had to worry about burning myself. I did go ahead and bump up the mod to 50W to see what would happen.
When I did this the flavor was intense and amazing. Plus the mouthpiece still stayed cool.
I loved how quickly I was able to get the coils to prime. I did not have to use a whole tank of e-liquid to get the flavor that I was looking for so this was an added bonus as well.
At 50W the flavor came out immediately and it tasted really good.
Using the 0.2 ohm Coil
After my pleasant experience with the 0.5 ohm coil, I decided that I would try out thee 0.2 ohm coil.
When I started with this coil at the low end of 30W I will admit that I was a little disappointed that nothing much happened.
I decided to go ahead and fire it up to 40W where I was able to get a decent amount of vapor and some small clouds.
However at 40W there was not much flavor from the e-liquid. At 50W I was able to get a warm vapor and have bigger clouds.
I was also able to get more flavor. When I moved it up to 60W though the vapor was getting even warmer.
I was still not getting the impressive flavor that I was able to get with the 0.5 ohm coil. Finally I decided to crank it up to 70W and see what happened.
When I did this the vapor was actually hot. I am not a fan of hot vapor so this was not something that I enjoyed as much as I had been enjoying the Phazer tank with the 0.5 ohm coil.
I also want to add that I did not think that flavor from the 0.2 ohm coil was ever as good as the flavor that came from the 0.5 ohm coil.
Plus when I was vaping at 70W the tank was getting very hot so I could see easily burning myself if I were cloud chasing and vaping at this level.
If I were to continue to use the 0.2 ohm coil, I would choose to stay around 60W but again it is not something that I will use much because I just did not get the superior flavor that I had when using the 0.5 ohm coil.
So one of the things that I enjoyed the most about the Apollo Phazer tank is that I was able to get such amazing flavor with the 0.5 ohm coil.
I was really impressed by how quickly I was able to gain the superior flavor as well.
The flavor came through so much quicker than I had experienced with other tanks in the past.
I didn’t even wait a full minute for the coil to be saturated and the flavor was already amazing.
This is not something that you get with very many tanks. Usually it takes a little time before you can have the superior flavor.
The base of the coils is unique and different than other coils that you are going to see.
This is because the coils actually have a special built in juice flow control.
This keeps you from going through your e-liquid too quickly. If you have a thicker e-liquid you can leave it wide open to gt the experience that you want.
However if you are using a thinner e-liquid you can actually close it off so that you are not going through the e-liquid as fast.
One thing that you need to keep in mind with the Apollo Phazer Tank is that the replacement coils are not going to include the housing that you need.
You need to keep and reuse the housing that is on the included coils.
Apollo does this so that there is less material used when making the coils which allows them to offer you a very affordable replacement coil.
In fact most of the time you are going to be able to find 5 replacement coils for under $15.
The drip tip also has some features that need to be mentioned. One of these is that it is made from two different parts.
There is an inner tube that has been made from stainless steel.
Then there is an outer tube that is made from glass that you can easily see through.
Thanks to these two layers, you never have to worry about the drip tip getting too warm, even when you are vaping at high wattage settings and the tank is becoming really hot.
Another thing that you should note is that the Phazer sub ohm tank is easy to take apart.
The glass can come completely out which makes it easier to clean as well.
There are two wide air flow slots that can easily allow you to have the amount of airflow that you need. You can adjust them, but I preferred to leave them completely open so that I could get the biggest possible clouds.
In addition I was really pleased with the quality of the build on the Phazer tank. This tank featured an easy to clean system that I was especially appreciative of.
I have had a lot of tanks and some of them are so bad to clean that I have bought new ones rather than messing with it.
So it was refreshing to find a tank that was actually simple to clean.
Gripes
There were a couple of things that I wish that Apollo had considered doing differently when they created the Phazer.
I wish that the tank had a larger capacity.
The 3.5 ml is just not big enough for all day long vaping and when I am busy I hate the inconvenience of having to fill my tank. In addition I wish that you were able to fill this tank from the top.
So many of the sub ohm tanks on thee market allow for you to fill them from the top, but this is one that does not.

Final Thoughts – Apollo Phazer Tank
The Apollo Phazer tank is a great tank overall.
Personally I was only disappointed that the tank could not hold more e-liquid and that the 0.2 ohm coil did not produce the same impressive flavor as the 0.5 ohm coil.
I will continue using this tank, but I am sure that I will only be purchasing the 0.5 ohm coils for replacements.
This system just offered a better vaping experience with superior clouds and flavor.
