Temperature control mods do what their name implies and they control the temperature of the coil inside the atomizer. Obviously you should know why this is important.

If you are vaping at temperatures that are too high then you could potentially be inhaling formaldehyde or some other toxic chemical.

It has been shown in lab settings that mods at very high temperatures are capable of producing formaldehyde.

It will also prevent you from getting dreaded burnt hits, as the coil will get hot enough to vaporize the juice and leave the cotton wick unharmed.

Using a temp control mod prevents this from happening. It’s important to remember that you can only use nickel wire (Ni200) or titanium wire for temperature control mode.

Never use nickel wire in regular VW/VV mode.

Most mods that are this reasonably priced have different types of batteries that are removable so having one that is easy to use with a rechargeable internal battery is a plus to many vapers.

This device does have a direct charging port which is not a personal favorite because they seem to be something that you can end up having problems with in the future.

The battery does have great battery life though which you will appreciate as you vape. The SmokTech made chip has been made to mimic the more popular chips that are available on mods.

Dovpo TC-50

The Dovpo TC-50 is a simple temperature control box mod.

It goes up to 50 watts to give you plenty of vaping power. It takes a single 18650 battery and is quite affordable at under $50.

It has plenty of protections built in to keep you vaping safe. It also automatically recognizes if it has a nickel coil or regular kanthal coil in the atomizer.

Heatvape Invader Mini

The Heatvape Invader Mini is a unique device in both looks and features.

It boasts features like water, dirt and shock resistance, along with all the other expected protections.

It is incredibly durable and is coated in silicone, which provides a firm grip while keeping it water resistant.

All this while providing 50W of vaping power along with it’s temperature control function.

SX Mini M Class

One of the things that is great about the SX Mini M Class mod is that it has a special type of chip. The chip has a DNA feature.

It is able to keep up with the fancier DNA mods that have more features because of its performance and capabilities.

One great thing about the M Class is that it is a very small size which is nice if you want something that is easily transportable.

This device is priced at nearly $200 so it is quite the investment that you are going to make.

Of course if you are willing to spend a little more you can pick up one of my personal favorite temp controlled mods.

However if you are looking for something that houses superior power in a small package then this is going to be the mod that you will want to choose.

Pioneer4You is a brand that is produced by a company that manufactures at least three different vaping brands – Asmodus.

Many people are hesitant when they are looking at companies that they do not know anything about.

However with Pioneer4You, you will find that the company produces some of the mod popular mods on the market with their other brands.

This device offers you some of the newest innovations that you will find on the market.

It does come in 2 sleek and traditional color choices. This means if you want to own one you can choose your own preference.

It has special safety features which I always find to be a plus since I am often around children.

I like that you can shut off the sensors so that you can have the safest possible mod that is prevented from misfiring.

I also like that children would have to understand how it works to be able to use it. All in all this is one mod that is going to meet your vaping needs and keep you happily vaping.

Vapor Shark rDNA 40

The Vapor Shark rDNA 40 is one of the most popular temperature control mods. The main issue with this mod is that carries a pretty high price tag.

This would be fine if the performance matched the price but for most vapers they can get the exact same experience with a mod that costs a considerable amount less.

The device uses one 18650 battery so it does not pack the battery power that many mods in the same price range do.

The special DNA chip is being hailed as one of the best temperature control chips. That is a huge advantage to picking up this mod. You know that you are going to get temperature control that is accurate.

This mod is just over $100 so it is not as much as some, but a bit more than most.

This is nice to note because if you have not previously checked out the brand then this might be a better introduction to see if you appreciate the overall features.

Many people feel that this mod is just too expensive but once they have used the DNA chip technology they realize just how worth it the higher price tag is.

Joyetech eVic VT

Joyetech is one of the leading manufacturers of personal vaporizers. The eVic VT is the company’s newest offering in the mod world.

The eVic VT is one sharp looking device. It comes in three colors: yellow, white, and black.

Each with contrasting racing stripes down the middle.

The kit also comes with a matching eGo ONE Mega tank.

The eVic VT features variable temperature control and boasts 60W of power.

Not to mention it comes with nickel and titanium coil heads to cover your temperature control needs.

Smok X CUBE II

Smok, another leader in the vape mod world, has come out with another temperature control device.

The X CUBE II is a very high powered temp control mod.

It clocks in at a maximum power of 160W, making it one of the more powerful mods on the market today.

The price is $99, which is a pretty good deal for such a high powered device with temperature control and loads of feature.

Features that include bluetooth connectivity with their app on your phone to keep track of your vaping habits and use upgrades.

This is a new and innovative feature that will likely be seen in many mods to come.

Vapor Flask DNA 40

The Vapor Flask DNA 40 is a personal favorite of mine which is why it made it so much further up on the list than the other temperature controlled mods. I really appreciate the sleek flask-like appearance and style that it has.

It also features the noteworthy DNA temperature regulating chip which is a must for those looking for a mod to use daily.

This device is pretty pricey but if you are in the market for a device that is going to give you the absolute best performance and temperature control than this is it.

I will note that the Vapor Flask DNA40 only has 40W of power which is not what most people are expecting when they are spending nearly $300 on a mod.

I know at first that I scoffed at the price tag and allowed it to keep me from picking up this amazing mod.

I will let you know if I had it to do over again this is money that I would spend time and time again because the mod is truly a mechanical work of art.

Arctic Dolphin ADT 50

The Arctic Dolphin ADT 50 is another sleek and classy looking mod. It is a 50W device that also features temperature control. It is made of zinc-aluminum alloy and is extremely durable.

It comes in a few different finishes so you are able to choose which one you prefer. It has very high build quality, so you know that it will last you quite a long time.

The style of it’s build is similar to the VaporShark DNA 40, in that it’s screen, button, and battery placement ore the same. It is also of similar size.

One thing that sets it apart are the finger grooves on the side with the buttons. These make it easy to grip and not accidentally drop it.
