More on the Uwell Crown 2

Body and finish

The Uwell-Crown 2 is made of stainless steel and has a quartz glass tank. The diameter of the mod is 24mm and it weighs 0.4 lbs.

The design of the chimney has been improved from the last version.

It is a 510 threaded design and has a removable Delrin-insulated drip tip.

The dual adjustable-airflow ring is located at the base. The new version is sleeker and cleaner than its predecessor.

Atomizer

This tank features parallel crown atomizer heads which have a cone-shaped positive connector for a smooth flow.

The Crown 2 allows the SUS316L 0.25ohm for large clouds and 0.5ohm for strong vaping and balanced flavor.

The Kanthal 0.8 ohm atomizers are also available which gives a great flavor and longer lifespan.

Tank

The tank of the Uwell-Crown 2 has an e-liquid capacity of 5ml. The tank can be refilled by opening the cap at the top.

The tank has two slots to fill the liquid. The refilling is hassle-free and does not spill around. It is equipped with a juice tank locking-screw to minimize-leaks.

The drip-tip is detachable and the locking screw is placed just below the tip in the top-cap. The screw can be tightened to lock the tank section, base, and the threaded top together.

Power

The dual coil heads of the vape can be used in both wattage and temperature control modes.

Its capacity is as- 0.25ohm (60-110w), 0.5ohm (50w-80w), 0.8ohm (30w-60w)

Battery

Li-Ion batteries have to be used with this device. Caution has to be exercised while charging the battery.

They should be charged on a fireproof surface. 20 Amp batteries or higher versions have to be used. They should have a PCB protected control circuit to ensure safe charge, discharge etc.

Final thoughts about the Uwell Crown 2

The new version of the Crown is much sleeker than the old version. The triple-ring design and the top cap of the Crown have been improved in this tank.

The air intake control rings have 2 longs Cyclops ports and feature a stop at the close and open slots, which is an up gradation from the previous version.

The drip-tip is mounted on a 510 Delrin base. The Delrin insulates the tank and prevents the heating problems. The spit-back protector in the chimney has been removed.

The open airflow too makes the vape a little cooler.

The tank of the Crown 2 can be easily refilled by opening the top-cap. The leak-resistant top fill design ensures there is no leakage.

For dealing with this problem, a lock screw has been provided in the top cap. This screw can be opened when the tank has to be removed for cleaning.

The performance of the Crown was always commendable. And so is the Crown 2.

The vaping experience of the Crown 2 is smoother and silkier. And even in lower wattage i.e. 50-70 watts, the vape provides a fuller and stronger vaping experience.

With the choice of choosing between any of the 3 coils and a better airflow, the flavor is great and the whole experience of vaping the Uwell-Crown 2 is enriching.

There is no warranty or replacement provision with the product.

The Crown was definitely one of the best sub ohm vapes in the market. With Crown 2, the minor problems of the previous version have been improved upon.

The vaping experience is smooth, it works at versatile outputs, and the cone shaped conductor gives a strong conductivity.

The design has been improved since the last version and overall, it is a great buy for the price it is being offered.
