What’s So Great About It?

Zephyrus Sub Ohm TankThere are quite a few things that make this sub ohm tank by Youde, a perfect choice for vapers.

First of all, it looks really metal, as in “that’s metal,” not the actual construction of the tank.

It comes with blue and red o-rings and just has a classy look to it.

Secondly is the low wattage vaping.

On the 0.2ohm and 0.3ohm heads, the flavor production is really sensational.

Around 30 or 40 watts seemed to really be the sweet spot on the 0.3oh coil head, which is a dual horizontal coil.

It vapes amazingly at around 20 watts so that means that you can lower the wattage and enjoy a longer battery life.

The airflow is nice and expansive, too. There are two air flow holes that are really wide and fully adjustable.

It’s similar to the Arctic’s airflow but not as expansive as say, the Atlantis 2. Still, it works well.

The RBA deck on this is also outstanding.

It has both replaceable coils and an RBA, which will impress many people.

It’s not a beginner sub ohm tank but if you’re well-versed in using them, this one is the one to get.

How to Use the Zephyrus

Zephyrus Sub Ohm Tank ReviewThe Zephyrus sub ohm tank has a top fill ability.

It is really easy to use and keep in mind that it holds 5ml of juice so you won’t have to keep refilling it over and over as often.

It also comes apart totally, making it easier to take apart and clean thoroughly. Even the airflow ring comes off so every aspect is cleanable.

The drip tip can be used in a couple of ways.

You can use it with the drip tip together with the provided heat sink or with the standard tip.

The heat sink keeps the drip tip cooler at higher wattage and vapes really well with it attached.

It also comes with three different coil types – 0.2, 0.3 and 0.5ohm coils for the perfect vaping experience that fits your own preferences.

Safety Matters

As with any tank, there are a few safety matters to keep in mind.

While this isn’t the tank that beginners may want to choose, if you are using a sub ohm tank as a newbie, use a lower nicotine.

You’ll get more vapor than you’re used to so this is a good idea.

Also, always have a good idea of what you’re doing – especially with sub ohm tanks. And never use a mechanical mod with a hybrid connector with a sub ohm tank.

This can cause your battery to short and cause catastrophic failure of the battery.

Final Thoughts on the Zephyrus Sub Ohm Tank

Zephyrus Sub Ohm TankThis is a tank that has a lot going on and most all for the good.

The RBA deck is one you’ll be impressed with, but even the standard coil heads are great as well.

With both, you get amazing clouds and impeccable flavor and you won’t even notice a big difference at lower wattage settings, which is great.

Whether you’re a dripper or an RBA user, you should love it.

First of all, you get the option of using the traditional coil head but you also have the really good build deck.

It has excellent airflow and the juice holes are ample.

Now like any tank, device, or whatever, there are a few issues. Nothing too major but there is some leakage issues when it comes to refilling from the top.

While this is a convenient and ample tank size, it did leak once in a while.

This wasn’t constantly and it wasn’t every time but it is something to keep in mind when you’re making a decision. The other issue is that this is of course, not a tank for beginners.

However, if you love building your own coils then it’s a really good choice and has a definite thumbs up for our review.

The UD Zephyrus Sub Ohm tank is a nice tank with plenty of bells and whistles.

The kit includes the Zephyrus tank, the colored o-rings, a spare Pyrex glass, and the heat sink for the drip tip. The price is comparable and you’ll love all that this tank can do.
